A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Frank Perocchi is an experienced pilot and air traffic controller. Over the course of his 23-year military career he served as a ground combat engineer, air traffic control officer, air combat exercise coordinator, and Marine aviation weapons and tactics instructor, among other positions. Beginning as an enlisted Marine, Frank Perocchi worked his way through the ranks to the position of commissioned officer.

Highly decorated, Mr. Perocchi received numerous medals for heroism and bravery in combat. He was also awarded The Navy Commendation Medal for his work in planning combat exercises. He was the principal architect for the Joint Chiefs of Staff exercise named SOLID SHIELD.

After serving his country, Frank Perocchi joined IBM as a staff systems test engineer. He was involved in developing and testing new radar air traffic control equipment. Mr. Perocchi worked closely with the Federal Aviation Administration, and his work on the project garnered him a letter of appreciation for IBM for his initiative and excellent work.
